The challenge of this project was to develop a functional Raspberry Pi-based action camera that prioritized both technical performance and material efficiency. Focusing on scalable production, ensuring that the manufacturing constraints were met without compromising the device’s special function.

Extensive research on electronics was conducted to optimize the internal component layout. This phase was important for managing power consumption and thermal regulation within a custom-engineered housing that could withstand field testing.

By applying design-for-selection constraints to the housing, the final product strikes a balance between complex mesh network technology and a commitment to sustainable manufacturing. The outcome was a proof-of-concept functional action camera.
